Now Seeking: Artistic Director
The Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival is conducting a nationwide search for its next Artistic Director.
The Festival is a nationally recognized chamber music festival based in Fernandina Beach, Florida, presenting world-class artists in intimate, unconventional venues across Amelia Island. Founded in 2001 by cellist Christopher Rex, the Festival has grown into a beloved cultural institution serving Nassau County and the broader Northeast Florida region, with a programming vision that spans classical masterworks, genre-crossing collaborations, and community engagement.
This is a part-time position structured to accommodate candidates who wish to maintain their own artistic careers. The Artistic Director reports to the President of the Board of Directors and works in close daily collaboration with the Executive Director. Alongside leading the artistic vision of the Festival, this person will serve as a public face of the organization, build relationships with artists, donors, and the Amelia Island community, and help shape the Festival’s next chapter.
