Free Classical Guitar Master Class by Sharon Isbin

This season, the Festival is thrilled to collaborate with Jacksonville University for a series of three Masterclasses with our Festival artists. A free public masterclass taught by GRAMMY Award-Winning guitarist Sharon Isbin will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 1-3PM.

Mark O’Connor’s An Appalachian Christmas featuring Maggie O’Connor

Beethoven & Beer with The American String Quartet

Internationally recognized as one of the world’s finest quartets, the American String Quartet has spent decades honing the luxurious sound for which it is famous. The Quartet celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2019, and, in its years of touring, has performed in all fifty states and has appeared in the most important concert halls worldwide.

The Rites of Spring

Celebrate the arrival of Spring with two monumental works in this unique program- Beethoven’s glorious “Spring Sonata” and Stravinsky’s earth-shaking “Rite of Spring” with Festival favorites David (violin) & Julie (piano) Coucheron and Elizabeth Pridgen, pianist. 

Family Concert: Musical Animals

Designed for young audiences but perfect for music lovers of any age, our annual Family Concert this year features the delightful “Carnival of the Animals” and “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” performed by pianists Julie Coucheron & William Ransom, violist Yinzi Kong, and narrated by the Island’s favorite actor, Frank O’Donnell.
